Human Food To Avoid For Dog-Don’t Let Them Eat These!
If you are eating something, do your dog asked for a share of it with his brown eyes and cut grin? We know you never can refuse your beloved buddy. But, you can’t give him to eat everything he wants. Maybe, the food is tasty, but it can be dangerous and lead to a serious health problem.
If you want to keep your dog in a healthy there are a few foods that you should never allow him to eat. We are listing human foods that you should never feed your dog.
Food that contains sweetener Xylitol

This is an artificial sweetener found in sugar-free products like candy, gums, also in few nut butter like peanut butter. Sweetener Xylitol can cause insulin release, without treatment which can lead to seizures, liver failure, and brain damage. So, always avoid food which contains this artificial sweetener.
Coffee, Caffeine, and Chocolate

The ASPCA has already pointed out that, Coffee, Caffeine, and Chocolate all of them contain substance name methylxanthines. This is very dangerous for dog health. They also say, ” When ingested by pets, methylxanthines can cause vomiting and diarrhea, panting, excessive thirst and urination, hyperactivity, abnormal heart rhythm, tremors, seizures, and even death. Note that darker chocolate is more dangerous than milk chocolate. White chocolate has the lowest level of methylxanthines, while baking chocolate contains the highest.” So, avoid those foods at any cost.
Alcohol

ASPCA also says, “Alcoholic beverages and food products containing alcohol can cause vomiting, diarrhea, decreased coordination, central nervous system depression, difficulty breathing, tremors, abnormal blood acidity, coma, and even death.”Alcohol has the same effect on the dog as it does to men’s. And, it takes very little amount to do a lot of damage to the dog. So, Don’t give alcohol to a dog in any circumstances.
Salty Snack Food and Salt

Excessive salt or salty food can cause excessive urination and thirst, even sodium ion poisoning. If the dog has overeaten salty food it will start vomiting, elevated body temperature, depression, tremors, diarrhea, seizures, and even death. So, ASPCA has asked to avoid feeding much salty snack food like potato chips, salted popcorn, and pretzels to your dog.
Raw/Undercooked Meat, Eggs and Bones

Raw meat, egg contain bacteria like Salmonella and E. coli. Which can be dangerous for both humans and dogs. An enzyme called avidin that can decreases the biotin absorb(Vitamin B). Raw eggs contain this enzyme. Feeding raw bone can be dangerous for domestic dogs. Which might choke on bones, and lodged in, puncture your pet’s digestive tract.
Onions, Garlic

They can cause gastrointestinal irritation and could lead to blood cell damage. Toxicity is usually diagnosed through history, clinical signs and microscopic confirmation of Heinz bodies.
Grapes and raisins

These foods can cause kidney failure in your dog! But experts aren’t sure in grapes and raisins which substance is toxic and the reason behind kidney failure.
Nuts

Nuts, including almonds, walnuts, and pecans, all they contain lots of fats and oil which can cause diarrhea, vomiting, and even pancreatitis in dogs. According to the ASPCA, macadamias are really dangerous for dogs. They can cause depression, weakness, tremors, vomiting, and hyperthermia.
Medications

Although they aren’t food, still they can cause serious health problem to dogs. So, it’s really important to keep them locked in a safe place. Common medicines like acetaminophen and ibuprofen can cause serious damage if the dog ingests them.
Coconut and Coconut Oil

Coconut contains oil in its flesh and milk. That can cause loose stools, diarrhea, and stomach upset. Also, coconut water contains a high amount of potassium so, we encourage you to use caution when offering food to your dog which contains coconut, coconut water or flesh.
Macadamia Nuts

Experts aren’t 100% sure why macadamia nut is harmful only for dogs (no other species are affected by this). But if the dog gets to eat macadamia nuts, it can cause non-fatal syndrome, ataxia or weakness, depression, fever, muscle tremors, and vomiting.
